Product description
FLEX-BALL is a switchable permanent magnet for flexible clamping of magnetic workpieces and is suitable for use on milling machines, grinding machines and especially on laser welding machines. A switchable permanent magnet is installed in any rotatable and swiveling ball mount, which is used to clamp the workpiece. This ball mount in turn is supported in a switchable permanent magnet shell. This patented arrangement allows previously unrealizable degrees of freedom. Thus, angles >90° can also be set and securely fixed. Workpiece weights of up to 100 kg can be clamped at restricted angles. For clamping non-magnetic workpieces, a vice or jaw chuck can also be clamped on the magnetic clamping plate.
