Permanent magnetic grippers
In the following you will find permanent magnetic flat and bar grippers. These designs are magnet systems that have only one adhesive surface due to their structure. No magnetic force is exerted on any other surface of the gripper magnet body. This design makes it possible to limit the spatial effect of the magnetic field so that the entire workpiece in contact with the gripper magnet or machine elements in the vicinity are not magnetized.
The holding forces given in the tables are nominal values at room temperature, which are achieved when the bar magnets are torn off vertically and rest on the entire surface of workpieces of sufficient thickness made of soft iron or mild steel. If the pole surfaces are not clean or the workpieces are uneven, air gaps will form which will greatly reduce the holding forces. It is recommended to always ensure clean pole surfaces and to clean them from time to time if necessary.
