The HGF handheld gaussmeter is an easy-to-use precision measuring instrument. With the superfine 1mm probe, magnetic flux densities can be measured extremely close to the magnetic pole and in very narrow air gaps. The HGF can be switched between magnetic direct and alternating fields and also between the units Gaus and Tesla. In the "magnetic DC fields" mode, the pending polarity N/S is constantly displayed at the edge of the display, and the "peak value display" function facilitates the search for magnetic surfaces, e.g. when detecting unwanted residual magnetism. In addition to the measuring instrument, the 1mm transverse probe and the batteries, the scope of delivery also includes a protective case and a protective cap for the probe. Thus, the HGF is also suitable for service use in industry. Our technicians use it to test heavy lifting magnets and clamping systems.
